A WARM WELCOME TO NORTHLIGHT ART STUDIOS

Northlight Art Studios provide high quality studio spaces for artists, designers and makers; a thriving community art school education programme as well as a popular calendar of events and exhibitions.

We are a not for profit cooperative run by our members. Established over 30 years ago, we have evolved to become a centre of excellence for visual arts and crafts practice. An ambitious model we offer professional studio space for over twenty artists as well as high quality creative educational opportunities for a wide range of abilities, experience and interests.

Northlight Art School provides more than just courses.  We are a community of like-minded people sharing our passion, knowledge and experience in the arts.  We offer
Artist’s Talks and Students’ Show and Tells and we have a great Art Library you can enjoy some books from and even borrow. Occasional gallery trips are also organised.

Our flexible use room ‘Art Space’ is fully equipped with AV equipment, LED lighting, WiFi, access to kitchen and disabled facilities. As well as a teaching space, the Artspace hosts regular short exhibitions, talks and events. It is available to hire for occasional weekends when our programme allows.
